The wedding is fast approaching, and though it feels like there are a million things to do, the actual to-do list is quickly disappearing. I am a huge lover of lists, from the trivial to the not-so-trivial, and when throwing such a large complicated event, it has become necessary in keeping my thoughts organized. In addition to the many lists currently scattered throughout my apartment, the Martha Stewart Weddings website has been a lifesaver throughout the planning process. The website provides an incredibly complete wedding Checklist, with items chronologically listed to insure you stay on track, with the option of adding your own items to the list (in addition to awesome Budget, Guest, Seating, Invite and Meal trackers). I highly recommend the site to all those in the midst of planning.
As wedding stress starts to climb, I’m thinking my future to-do lists will need to be created along the lines of the notes and lists found in Lists: To-dos, Illustrated Inventories, Collected Thoughts, and Other Artists’ Enumerations from the Collections of the Smithsonian Museum.
Even the thought of painting my honeymoon packing list, makes the whole thing seem less stressful.
