Latest Love: Shelby Hughes
Shelby Hughes’ (American, b. 1981) playfully colorful works draw you in to beautifully intricate, quite delicate, landscapes. I’m especially enamored with the palette of Shelby’s Inlet Intuit—I’d love to immerse a whole room in the perfect minty hue.

Wedding Season
I am absolutely smitten with this lovely wedding party screen print by artist Saul Steinberg, celebrated for his covers and drawings for The New Yorker, and his internationally exhibited drawings, paintings, sculptures, prints and collages, alike. It is certainly wedding season in our household, with five weddings in a five month span—one of which is this weekend, for a dear friend of mine. I am equally as giddy for her wedding, as I was for my own, and could not be happier for the lovely couple (congrats you two!!!). Readying myself for some bachelorette festivities tonight, rehearsal tomorrow, and the big day on Saturday!!

Happy 4th all! I’ll be making the most of today—waving a tiny flag at my hometown parade, grilling with friends, and pulling out a comfy blanket for the fireworks tonight.
